Greetings!
I am a Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Central Florida.
Before joining the faculty at UCF, I taught philosophy at Wake Forest University. I also spent a year as a visiting fellow at the University of Notre Dame's Center for Philosophy of Religion. I completed my PhD in philosophy at the University of Virginia in 2019.
My research focuses on epistemology and metaphysics but, as a teacher, I am an aspiring generalist. I have designed and taught courses in social ontology, the history of early analytic philosophy, ancient philosophy, the philosophy of religion, logic, applied ethics, and epistemology, among other areas.
When I'm not doing philosophy, I like to drink coffee, run, and take slow walks with my basset hounds, Copper and Ollie.
